Andy Shaw: From Humble Beginnings
It may surprise you that Andrew Bernard Shaw was once very ordinary. All through his youth he was known as a bright young chap who was fond of collecting stamps and was always sure to tip his hat to passers-by. One day, at the ripe age of 12, Andrew came across a wise old beekeeper who told him he would amount to great things. That very same night, he packed up and embarked on the journey that would define him. He saw more of the world than even you, the reader of this fine interweb site, could imagine witnessing. As he grew in age and in hardiness, he found himself employed with all sorts of occupations: Himalayan wind collector, bamboo wrangler, and even British shoe shiner for a brief period of time. Yes, the well-traveled Andy Shaw was, and is, a man of the world. Today you might find him working on his peanut farm in South Carolina developing a more efficient method of producing crunchy peanut butter.
